The past, present and future state of public transportation in San Antonio was discussed, as well as the future obstacles we may face and practical methodology we can use to mend our broken urban corridors. One of many items of intrigue was “we want to encourage good choices through preference, not compulsion.” This serves as a great reminder that as San Antonio continues to grow, we must keep an open mindedness towards the advantages of making public transport more accessible, as well as more practical for all. Our commitment to a healthier, more livable, more sustainable, and more equitable future for our city can set an example for the nation.
