Katherine Fontenot, Director of Construction, for local commercial real estate developer Weston Urban, has had the privilege to be a small part of some very large projects full of notoriety during her 26-year career. From soup-to-nuts ground up sports, recreation, and office development to restoration of historic treasures here in San Antonio and across the great state of Texas, Katherine takes immense pride in the relationships she has built along the journey. The best practices and knowledge gleaned from those individuals who dream up the concept and roll out the vision, those in the field who carry the tools and execute the Work, and the end users who determine the ultimate success of the venture -– keep her in the game. The people involved are the motivation for her to continue to slay daily the 6 different kinds of smoke that Construction frequently dishes out.
