    Debra Guerrero is an urban planner, strategist, policymaker and connector whose involvement in organizations throughout San Antonio has enabled her to create opportunity and access — professionally and civically — for diverse voices at decision-making tables. As vice president of governmental affairs, Guerrero is a senior member of The NRP Group's development team. She joined NRP in 2004 and opened its Texas office. Since then, she's been instrumental in developing more than 11,000 affordable housing units throughout the state. Guerrero has expertise in structuring public-private partnerships and working with local, state and federal entities. She is president of the Texas Association of Affordable Housing Providers, a San Antonio Independent School District trustee and an alumna of the Texas Lyceum, a statewide leadership group focused on legislation and policies addressing challenges that Texans face.
