Join ULI San Antonio for the second in a series of five Saturday morning Bike Trail Tours on July 25...fun for both new and experienced riders.
*Starting Point: Blue Star, 125 Blue Star, SATX 78204 (SA Bike Share available)
Starting at Blue Star, we will ride up Guadalupe Avenue passing several murals and the Guadalupe Arts Center. We will connect with the Apache Creek Trail, which is one of the Westside Creek Trails, and learn about new pocket parks and community-based partnerships. We will continue on the Apache Creek Trail toward the Mission Reach, where we will stop at Mission Escondida Luxury Apartments and Confluence Park, then finally end up back at Blue Star. We will hear from representatives from San Antonio Parks, SAY Sí, and the San Antonio River Foundation. Approximately 10 miles. All registered riders will receive a ULI bandanna and water bottle.
The ULI/SA Bike Trail Tours will provide an opportunity for owners, developers and real estate practitioners to directly interact with some of San Antonio's best bicycling/walking trail systems and learn how they; improve the heath/well-being of our community, can be an important value-creation element in future developments, provide a sustainable option to future transportation networks, build community and offer a safe/fun/affordable recreation option.
