Join ULI San Antonio YLG for an Insiders Tour of The ’68 Apartments -- AREA Real Estate's latest mixed-use project right in the heart of Hemisfair near Yanaguana Garden. Built by Cadence McShane Construction, the 8-story, 151-unit building is impressive and offers locals the first opportunity in fifty years to live and park on the Hemisfair grounds. Architects Lake|Flato designed the building to maximize views of the park and downtown San Antonio for every resident.

The community’s design aesthetic is an homage to the original World’s Fair, held in 1968, blended with a streak of modernity. Each apartment has concrete floors, huge windows, w/d connections, tall ceilings and sleek kitchens. There is a great gym in the building with regular activities from yoga to cross-fit, and even a Pickle Ball court on top of the parking garage. The ‘68’s resident-only rooftop grill and lounge is especially popular with its views of the Tower of Americas. The ’68 is a five-minute walk to Southtown, Downtown, The Alamo and the Riverwalk.
