REACHING NEW HEIGHTS IN SUSTAINABLE WORK SPACES

    THIS TOUR IS SOLD OUT!
Join ULI San Antonio YLG for an Insiders Preview/Hard Hat Tour of The Soto -- Texas’ first mass-timber office building. At six stories and 140,000 square feet, The Soto is a model of sustainable design. Developed by Hixon Properties and designed by Lake|Flato, it is the first phase of an 8.5-acre mixed-use area in the Cavender neighborhood that will include food and beverage, entertainment, office, apartment, and retail.

The primary design direction was to provide a unique and beautiful workplace that appeals to tenants, is highly flexible, and incorporates technologies that make the building operationally efficient and sustainable. Mass timber , a harbinger of sustainable design and construction that has proved its strength in Europe, Canada and Australia, and more recently, the United States, helped achieve many of these objectives. Once completed, The Soto promises to be the 21st Century workplace for businesses focused on recruiting and retaining today’s top talent.
