Join us for the next session of the ULI San Antonio Young Leaders Secrets to Success Leadership Series with SouthStar Communities' President & CEO Thad Rutherford. This bi-monthly, hourlong, casual boardroom discussion with some of San Antonio's top leaders in the real estate business is a fantastic way for ULI members under 35 to meet and learn from the best in the industry, while also interacting with their peers.

Leading the team at Southstar Communities, Thad guides the company vision and its strategic investments. Thad oversees the management team focused on SouthStar's $300 million portfolio of residential development properties across Texas and the southeast, representing over 2,500 sing'e-family homesites. Thad's passion for delivering the unexpected is often seen as a catalyst for the company's growth and strength in the marketplace. Thad focuses on new opportunities, applying a mix of services including asset management, acquisition/assemblage/entitlement and project development. He has an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami and volunteers with the Urban Land Institute, United Way and the Real Estate Council of Austin.
