Join ULI San Antonio for a Membership Mixer honoring outgoing Chair Steve Yndo at the new Dough Pizzeria Napoletana in Hemisfair. Let’s all raise a toast to Steve and his two years of leading ULI San Antonio while enjoy food, drinks and networking on the enclosed patio. To top it all off, Dado Group’s Kristen and Clay Hefty will also be there to talk about their latest successful restaurant creation in the park!
ABOUT DOUGH PIZZERIA AT HEMISFAIR: Telling the story of the historic OK Bar, originally built in 1890, while creating a vibrant space within Hemisfair Park for patrons to enjoy was the end goal of the team consisting of Dado Group and owners of Dough Pizzeria Napoletana. Located near the Yanaguana Garden, an active play environment, Dough creates a visible link to the park enforcing the symbiotic relationship it has with the site. The interiors continue to tell the story of the OK Bar by highlighting the historic elements. Without disrupting the untouched brick, copper conduit covers create a design element that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Further enhancing the historic significance, the colors selected for the interior were matched from the existing building. This mix of old and new is the cornerstone of the design concept of this new location for Dough Pizzeria.
