ULI/SA FY18 MENTORSHIP MIXER / INFO MEETING
Anyone who is interested in participating in the 2017-18 ULI/SA Mentorship Program should attend the Mentorship Mixer on July 27 at 5:30pm at the CREO offices at the site of Essex Modern City. (You do not have to be a ULI member to attend the Mixer; however ULI membership is required at the time of application to the Mentorship Program.)
The Mentorship Mixer is designed to provide an overview of the program and give you an opportunity to hear shared personal experiences from past participants and mentors, and to ask questions. Details on the Mentorship Program will be available there. Online applications will be accepted August 1-29.
The Mentorship Program is a year-long series of scheduled meetings between mentor & mentee groups designed to provide the following to ULI Young Leader members who are under the age of 35:
- Exploration of ULI’s mission in a confidential, trusting environment of idea exchange;
- A broader understanding of all facets of the real estate environment;
- Connectivity with ULI peers and a senior-level Mentor;
- Personal and professional development.
The 2017-18 Mentorship Program will consist of four small groups, each consisting of 5-7 Young Leader members paired with a single Mentor. Each Small Group will have an appointed Group Leader to assist the Mentor with scheduling, selecting meeting venues, making lunch arrangements/reservations, etc.
Mentorship meetings will be scheduled from September 2017 through June 2018, consisting of several small group lunch discussions and three combined group events.
There is a $75 fee to participate in the year-long Mentorship Program. This fee is separate from, and in addition to, your annual ULI membership dues. The all-inclusive fee covers the cost of materials, monthly lunches and special events.
