How did you first learn about ULI?
I first became aware of ULI through the ULI Hines Student Competition when I was studying Landscape Architecture at Harvard Graduate School of Design. It was inspiring for multidisciplinary teams to tackle real world design problems using a variety of skill sets.
What is your proudest moment in your current position?
TBG volunteered landscape architecture schematic design services (along with Lake | Flato Architects, and others) for Dignowity-Lockwood Park on the east side. TBG feels strongly that quality public spaces should be accessible to all residents of our city. I was very proud to see it included in the list of projects for the upcoming bond, and it will feel even better when the bond passes!
What is on your wish list for the next 5 years?
To see San Antonio’s core grow smartly, sustainably and inclusively into a world-class downtown for residents and tourists alike. My hope is that TBG will continue to be a positive part of that transformation.
